I have battled with losing weight, maintaining weight loss and my cursed gut. I have come to terms with the fact that at 31 years old I can not eat everything and get away with it like I could a few years ago. The late night snacks, sweets and junk food have been closely monitored in my struggle to keep the weight I desire.
It has not been easy and has taken a lot of discipline to stick with a diet that gets me to my goal. There has been many days when I have failed to say no to a bad diet. I drink too much soda sometimes or grab some fast food in a pinch.

Try not to be so hard on yourself if you don’t always eat the right thing or you have a set back every now and then. Life gets busy and sometimes we just don’t have time to properly diet and exercise like we should.
Take small steps to get you going in the right direction. Drink more water and cut back on the sweets. Try different types of fruits when you want something sweet or crave sugar. Look for low fat items and low fat recipes. Trust me there are great meals that are great for you.
You can lose the weight you want to and you can keep it off. Start today and keep track of your progress. We all struggle sometimes but your goal is obtainable if you continue to try.
